Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
IJRDO Journals is committed to maintaining high standards of integrity and transparency in scholarly publishing. The journal follows internationally accepted ethical practices, particularly those outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics and the principles required by the Directory of Open Access Journals.
All individuals involved in the publication process—including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher—are expected to follow these ethical guidelines. Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and quality.
The journal is open access and content is shared and reused with appropriate attribution to the original author(s) under the Creative Commons License.
Publisher Responsibilities
As a publisher, IJRDO Journals is responsible for the overall quality and integrity of the publication process. In practice this means:
- Keeping submitted manuscripts and related information confidential
- Providing support for technical issues related to the journal system
- Maintaining proper records and backups of all submissions and publications
- Publishing articles only after necessary proofreading and author approval
- Ensuring that articles are clearly formatted and professionally presented
- Addressing complaints, ethical concerns, or misconduct in line with Committee on Publication Ethics recommendations.
The publisher also guarantees editorial independence and that it is not influenced by commercial interest. The journal does not place commercial advertisements which may have an impact on academic neutrality.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are an integral part of the credibility of the Journal. When submitting a manuscript, authors agree that:
- The work is original and has not been published anywhere else.
- The text does not need to be submitted to another journal simultaneously with the current submission
- References and sources have been correctly cited.
- All the authors listed have made meaningful contributions to the research.
- Any potential conflict of interests are clearly disclosed.
Plagiarized work, fabricated data and misleading results are not acceptable for the journal. All papers are screened for plagiarism.
Resaerch Integrity
Authors are expected to be responsible for their findings being presented honestly. Data should not be manipulated, selectively reported or altered in any way which might mislead the reader.
Authorship and Contributions
Only those who have made noteworthy contributions should be cited as authors. Authors are not likely to make changes to the text after it has been submitted and are not permitted to change the authorship after it is accepted.
Eorros and Correction
If a significant mistake is discovered in a published article, the author should notify the journal promptly, in order to make the necessary corrections or retractions.
Handling and Misconduct
In case of an ethical issue, the journal will consider the case in accordance with the recommendations of Committee on Publication Ethics. Depending on the circumstances, it might be rejected or corrections made and published or the article retracted.
Conflict of Interest
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research, peer review, or editorial decision-making process. If no conflict exists, authors should state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.” The editorial office will assess disclosed conflicts and take appropriate measures to ensure an impartial and transparent publication process.
Editorial Responsibilities
The Editor is responsible for providing a fair and unbiased review and publication process. Their role includes:
- Evaluating submissions based on academic merit and relevance
- Maintaining confidentiality of manuscripts and reviewer identities
- Avoiding situations where conflicts of interest may arise
- Taking appropriate action when ethical concerns are reported
- Issuing corrections or retractions when necessary
The editors can submit their own papers to the journal only if they are reviewed by themselves and do not influence the reviewing process.
Reviewer Responsibilities
The work of reviewers is important in improving the quality of research published. expected to:
- Provide honest, constructive, and timely feedback
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively without personal bias
- Keep all review materials confidential
- Inform the editor if a conflict of interest exists
- Point out relevant work that has not been cited
The reviewers must not utilize the manuscript for their personal use or refer directly to the authors.
Correction and Retraction
When issues are identified after publication, the journal may take one of the following actions:
- Correction: minor errors that do not affect the overall findings.
- Expression of Concern: when there is uncertainty about the integrity of the work
- Retraction: If there are serious ethical breaches or poor data, then it is retracted.
